Lyn Mellady
The
serenity visible in many of Lyn Mellady’s paintings belies
her inner, lifelong challenge and impatience to paint her vision
of Australia.
Lyn’s work has now won dozens of awards, and many commendations.
Lyn
Mellady is past President and signatory member of the Australian
Guild of Realist Artists (A.G.R.A.) a member, of the Pastel Society
of Victoria and member of the "Brushmen of the Bay".
An active member of the Art community today, she teaches, has
demonstrated her methods to hundreds of artists and students,
and is called to adjudicate at Art shows. But all these activities
take second place to her own artwork.
She appears in three art reference books including ‘50 Australian Artists’ and
features in many art journals. Her work hangs in five government collections;
Frankston and her Sister City Susumo, Sutherland, Campbelltown and Nagoya.
Lyn Mellady paintings have found their way to collectors on all
continents.
